So the weekend has brought more than just the Tour of California and weekend debauchery for me to be excited about. Courtesy of Trek bikes, the awesome staff and hard working management at Mellow Johnny's, Team Hotel San Jose has just been outfitted with some of the dopest 5.2 Pro Trek Madones on the block, and some classy Giro Ionos Helmets to match. So in celebration, there was a unanimous decision to bring in our newly recruited members from the disbanded Toyota United racing team (Chris Wherry and Heath Blackgrove) and put all of our flashy new gear on display for all of Austin to behold with a team ride this Saturday morning. So in the company of some great guys and gals we headed for the west austin hills and made for a great day of riding and socializing. After the weekend I'm hoping to get in some more quality riding with the new team and I'm definitely looking forward to the new season.
